My favorite is either the first of diorite (to help spawn more Allies to fight) or the moss block golems (to help keep units alive and destroy structures such as those piglin structures that causes nether gas to spread and poison your units)
My fav are the cobblestone golems,they are very good at breaking portals so when they are around it becomes easier to destroy stuff.

In order of usefulness I would say First of Stone, First of Diorite, First of Oak, then First of Brick.

Cobblestone golems are a bit op when mass utilized. They shred piglin buildings when you get 30-40 of them
