  1. Why not try doing a gameplay series starting in the Alphas or Infdev and going up to the next version of Minecraft every 20-60 minutes? For instance, you could go from Infdev, to Alpha 1.1.0, to Alpha 1.2.0, to Beta 1.0-1.8, and then through each of the major releases. I think that would be fun to watch and we could see how each version was different from the last in the same Minecraft world. I've already confirmed that a Minecraft world created in Infdev could be opened in the latest version of Minecraft assuming it is open in some of the updates before then, such as in the Alpha, then Beta, then Release 1.6.2, etc.

  2. Can't you use the spider silk to make wool that can be used to smelt iron and gold that you mine by creeper blast? 24 string should be enough to smelt a bucket. You could make armor instead. If you stand in an area with sky overhead, will the wandering trader show up?

πŸ˜‚Oh, yeah, most mobs. You know, other than creepers, skeletons, spiders, witches, larger slimes…
Pt. 2: Toycat; "We can use daylight on everything except witches!"
And except creepers, spiders, slimes, endermen…πŸ˜‚

  4. Mobs do drop loot even if you didn't hit them. Plenty of zombies drop rotten flesh each morning. Not sure how the witch works with that, but assume she will also drop stuff without you hitting her.

  5. Fishing: I verified in 1.20.10 that fishing in running water (like at the bottom of waterfalls) works (non-source-block water). In one day I got 17 cod, 2 rotten flesh, 1 stick, 2 bowls, 9 salmon, 2 bottles, 2 puffer fish, 1 leather, and 1 string. I did have unobstructed sky above. Also, during the rainy part, it didn't seem any faster and I missed the catch often. Waste of 3 sticks? Or a genius plan?

  6. Use creepers to blow up iron and cobble

    Kill spiders for string

    Turn string into wool

    Build furnace with the cobble

Use the wool to smelt the ingots and build a bucket

Build a portal using the lava and bucket

Go to the nether for food and wood

  8. You can use spots of skylight to burn zombies. Also, the bucket is a cool idea as you can use it to set mobs on fore with lava, so it's a kind of a weapon. And hoping to get sticks from a witch is a bad idea. it's better to explore just to find mineshaft, from where things can go much better.

  9. I love the tunnel idea. Just build 2 three high walls open on both ends. Roof one end and add a slab so you can run underneath but the witch can’t. Then quickly run around and seal the other end. Super simple lol. I wouldn’t have lasted 5 minutes in this challenge.

  10. Building a tunnel with an escape route then trapping the witch in the tunnel and killing her through half slabs where she can't see you is probably the way to go.
