  1. It would be cool if potions were "programmable", specifically cauldron potions.
Maybe we could train a neural network to relate the ingredient sequences to a vector of potential effects you could get out of it.
Then we could just have an infinite variety of potions we could make, and have a whole sub-game of creating the wackiest potions you can make outta it.

  2. Man, I love mojang, they are literal OPPOSIDE of Valve
They treat their game as their own and only child with such care, and you can see it! They are also really like to communicate with its community, thats awesome!
    meanwhile valve..

  3. I actually dismissed the devs talk video at first for two reasons: the first reason is that I thought it was just going to be a bunch of sensitized corporate lingo about the game and whatnot, and the second one is not including/talking about notch, which say however you feel about him, he is still the creator of the game and talking about it's origin without including him in some way just feels off to me, but I'm glad that my assumptions were wrong and they were just talking honestly and somewhat freely about how they feel which felt very refreshing and kind of nostalgic in a way

  4. I would care about their bullshit opinions on the game if they could release an update with any amount of content in it. Lazy pieces of garbage. Notch was the only thing holding that company together

  5. I feel like mc lost its spark when it mo longer felt like you played an obscure flash game. At some point everyone knew about it, and it no longer felt special. Dont get me wrong, minecraft was my childhood and its still a really great game, but it isnt the same as it was like 10 years ago.

  6. Old minecraft is the best and thats not nostalgia. thats just facts. old minecraft witrh mods is so much better than new minecraft they introduced so much random stuff no one asked for.

  7. 8:16. This is just plain wrong. If you make something that sucks, it doesn't make everything else better, it just means everyone will avoid that thing. It probably just not a priority to improve these things, if it was 100% necessary to go to these places, or do the things which suck, they would almost certainly change them. (Saying this as a game dev/designer)
