  2. I love how this video is basically just a casual diss on Bedrock edition. Like, I know eyecraft didn't mean it that way, but to me, when someone playing a new version of a game they've played for years and lots of the comments are "wow not sure if that's a bug" or "man that feels kinda clunky/unoptimized" or "what is the point of this feature?" It seems like a serious step down. Java in my eyes will always be the one and true minecraft and bedrock edition to me has always felt like microsoft's cash cow using the insanely popular minecraft name as enticement to future generations of 12 year olds, while not actually caring to make the game the beauty that Java edition is.

  3. Windows 10 Bedrock Edition is probably the most similar to java out of all the bedrock edition varients. I moved to java with 1.19 n tho I planned on continuing with bedrock, i joined a server on java n play on that daily lol. If that server ever dies, i'll be going back to bedrock or alternating between the 2. I noticed quite a lot of differences between the 2 versions that no one actually talks about. For example, Swimming. I java, swimming without Depth Strider is nearly impossible, ur better off just jumping across the river. N u have to jump to get out of the water so u can't just got close to the shore, aim ur screen up, n get onto land (i'm pretty sure this works only if u have autojump on). And u can hold ur head above the water while ur swimming. So u can continuously swim across an ocean without taking breathing breaks, the only breaks u need to take r eating breaks. Which i'm p sure 1.19 change bedrock eating so the saturation/exhaustion levels hold up for a longer amount of time. I also noticed, Java health regenerates SO FAST compared to bedrock. Sure mobs cause more damage on java generally, but ur able to heal so much faster. On bedrock edition, the only mob that runs after u hit it, is the cow. On java, all animals run for their lives as fast as the cows. And SKELLETONS OMG, they r sooooooo much faster on java! N they frickin dodge u! I was very unhappy to learn that. Also, fun fact, bedrock biomes don't seem to change so quickly as they do on java. Because of the java F3, I was able to see that depending on ur player height, ur actually changing the biome ur in. That's insane to me. Speaking of java f3, if u use a windows 10 laptop, there's a separate button u have to push with f3 to open the menu. Mine's a lenovo so I have to push FN + F3. N the F3 screen, no one tells u just how obstructive that dang screen is. I was envious of f3 til I used it for the first time. I much prefer bedrock's top corner of the screen cords (which u can enable in the game settings). Also something I wanna let u java players know, the bedrock UI was changed completely with the 1.19.10 (I think it was 1.19.10 but might've just been 1.19) update. It separated a lot of the categories that were previously there. I hate how java does mods n datapacks n world importing. It's so stupid that u have to manually open the files n move em around. In bedrock edition, u just have to open the files after downloading it n open it again after ur in the file explorer n it imports it to ur pack list. N it separates resource packs n behavior packs. Something annoying about bedrock tho, is that if u turn on a behavior pack, u can't have achievements on. If u create ur world in creative mode, u can't have achievements on. N bedrock edition doesn't have a statistics page. It's a sad fact n is one of the #1 reasons i'm enjoying java despite the differences in mentioned above. Another reason i'm enjoying java is the option of village structures in superflat and the fact that u have presets for it. On bedrock, u get a plains biome flat world n that's ur only option. The presets r amazing n i love them. I don't like java's multiplayer stuff tho. U have to buy a server to play with long distance friends, or research to find a free one. I'm forgetting a lot of my complaints about java rn, so imma leave it at this.
