Minecraft Viki (video wiki) ➜ https://minecraft.viki.gg

Talking about the hiliarious response from Dream Stans when Dream was caught cheating. I also discuss why he is rightly angry he got caught. Obviously a bit of hyperbole with the whole dragon thing… Minecraft Speedrunner Dream

  1. i apologize for standing up for dream, i thought it was a one time thing, in one speedrun, not 6 streams in a row lol. i jusg figured it was just a lucky thing that happened because he was a trusted speedrunner

  2. I think I figured out a way to rationalize how likely this is. If every person on the planet alive right now somehow had a child, they would double the population of the earth. Then those people would have to double the population of the earth. Then those people would have to double the population of the earth.
Then those people would have to double the population of the earth.
Then those people would have to double the population of the earth.
Then those people would have to double the population of the earth.
Then those people would have to double the population of the earth.
Then those people would have to double the population of the earth.
Then those people would have to double the population of the earth.
With all of those people now being on Earth, let's assume everybody not only is a gamer, but speedruns Minecraft. Now let's assume in that whole time of doubling the population of the Earth, not a single person died that whole time. Out of all the people that exist in this scenario, one would have gotten the luck Dream did.

  3. I agree, I think tho that he did go for world record, bc that was world record at the time. However, now its like 16th or something, so he's purposely trying to downplay it even tho it was the record. I agree about the modest cheating, if he really wanted to go so far he could have made his spawn better, increased other rates, etc.

  4. I’m just surprised he cheated on so many fronts, I feel like you would want to cheat on one thing like the blaze rods that way it would be harder to detect right?

  5. I wouldn't call myself a Dream fan, but I think you shouldn't be talking about legality. Statistics are used in court cases to rule against criminals because real actions have real consequences and letting criminals out because of a tiny miniscule doubt is a far better concern than accidentally landing an innocent man in jail when chances are that slim. This is a block game and shouldn't be taken too seriously. By comparing speedruns to crime cases you're undermining the severity of the situation and the reasoning behind using statistics to help solve crimes.
Yes, he probably cheated, but there is still a possibility he didn't, no matter how ridiculous it sounds. In a case where he didn't cheat, he'd have no proof for it. Besides, I think there's plenty more evidence to view. I'm not exactly certain, but from the video the moderator for the speedrun site posted it seems like they examined one 24 hour stream and 6 speedrun videos, which is a considerable amount of time but not enough to rule him out absolutely. Going through more past footage and seeing the odds on that could serve as a final verdict and give closure to the luck-based claims.
Once the number reaches the quadrillions it should be completely clear that he was cheating. One in a trillion events have likely happened before, but one in a quadrillion is much, much less likely, and even less in a game version that is less than a year old.

  6. A small chance is still a chance. If a small chance is impossible: then why are you here? It was a tiny chance of you being created, but yet you’re here. I honestly feel like you got something personal with Dream and you’re just trying to get more people on your side.

And you always saying that nothing is proven 100% right, why should we listen to you?

  7. Even tho dream obviously cheated. I hope he apologizes instead of continuing this lie. On the track this is headed, he will likely get canceled. That would suck cuz his videos are entertaining. Call me a Stan if u want. But his vids r fun to watch

  8. So, basically we can be doubtful again when dream says his videos aint staged? K cool thanks.

Nah but seriously, dream had a good start in yt and i even watched it, then they started doing this kinda sneaky and cheeky shit that like, man, it gets boring, and don't get me wrong i like staged content and some amount of "cheating" for shit to be more fun (never been fond of "official" speedruning rules myself). But fucking hell, if you do cheat, you dont hide it under a curtain of smugness and demeaning towards literally any person that doubts you, you own the fuck up to it before you start and keep doing your content. Cmon its not that hard people! Be honest with your audience, they aint stupid!

  9. To put into perspective how statistically improbable 1/7.5 trillion is, if all 126 million Minecraft players started speedrunning Minecraft 24/7 on 1.16 talking about let's say 11 minutes to both reach the nether and see if they are lucky enough, that's (7.5 trillion/126 million)*11 min. Which equals about 654761 minutes or about 454 days. Not impossible but ignoring the fact that the number I chose for the time to reach the nether and farm all the pearl and blaze rods was from the world record it would still take a year straight of attempts.

Even if my math is off, I am still being generous saying that all 126 million people would take 11 min to reach the nether
