  1. Pro tip with all of the pressure plate points in the video: if you have access to worldedit or op/Debug Stick you can set the pressure plate to "powered" mode and that will prevent it from activating if someone steps on it. Also works on buttons.

The debug stick can also make sign/fence combos look more connected as you can force the fence to connect to a specific side.

  2. Keeping the interior of a build 2 blocks tall will actually make sprint jumping faster, you just have to spam it a lot harder. You also enderman proof the base.
Does it look or feel good? No. Is it practical? Unfortunately, yes.

3 blocks minimum? Ever heard of slabs? /s
2 1/2 minimum, not 3. Calling 3 minimum just sounds amateur to me despite the rest of the advice in the video. 2 open blocks with an upper slab to top it off. Comfortable without making things feel cavernous and keeps your build from getting way too big with its outer dimensions.

  4. If your building a map in creative, you can easily just type "/give @p minecraft:debug_stick" to give yourself a tool that can edit almost any feature of a block, allowing you to have the fence posts and glass panels to actually connect to any item frames or signs that you place on them.
