Things I Would Change in Minecraft. Minecraft has changed a lot from its inception, but some things have been left behind in my opinion. In this video i share my opinions on the things I’d love to see changed in an overall “quality of life” update.

Disclaimer: This is not a complaint video at all, I love minecraft and appreciate what every update brings – However as a veteran player who minecrafts everyday, I want to share some ideas I’d love to see in the game. Some of them may surprise you.

Personal thanks to Scar, Tango and other Hermits for their input on this video

  1. Those of you suggesting water for building under: it is a method that I did not include in the video, it's not ideal because you can't remain stationary, you drown but most importantly it breaks all grass, torches and redstone beneath you, which there usually is one. Very good point there are other methods – however none of them are a perfect fix, even bonemealing warped roots, they are under the block.

  2. Polar Bears should hunt different type of aquatic animals, especially fishes.

Husks should spawn in Dungeons if the surface biome are hot: Desert, Badlands and Savanna.

Stray should spawn in Dungeon if the surface biome are cold: Taiga, Snowy Plains, etc.

Bats should have its own biome, a random swarm event warning you that you are about to enteri theur territory. There could be some hostile bats that can hit you but won't deal much damage like Silverfish. Also, add more sounds to them because they're "atmospheric" mobs, right?

  4. I love the idea of clicking the shulker in the inventory and being able to transfer items back and forth. I would like to be able to do that with the bundle as well. I also think it's a bit of a pain having various items that only stack to 16, such as eggs and honey bottles. Just make them all stack to 64. And for goodness sake, make potions stackable to 64 as well

  5. phantoms being faster than running speed is SO annoying. i honestly wouldn't mind them if placing a block over my head or running were options to avoid them, but they always find a way…

  6. Just install adventure backpacks mod, for more inventory space. They also have two liquid compartments that can hold 4 buckets of most liquids. They have a crafting grid. They have tool slots which you can switch with your hotbar instantly. AND they have the capacity of a double chest. AND some of them can give you positive effects.

  7. A lot of these suggestions are implemented by the mod Quark by Vaskii. You should talk with him about it because he is trying to get Mojang to add that mods' features.

  8. I made an auto disc player in my world. Just a dropper facing down into the juke box, then when the disc is done it gets taken by a hopper and an item elevator back to the original dropper. I know Grian isn't a redstone guy but it wasn't too complicated.

  9. I used Vanilla Tweaks to add bundles to my realm that I play on with my friends and it really was a surprisingly helpful thing. It sucks that they had to leave them out because of parity issues, but at least we can still use them on the realm

  10. Honestly I think enchantments are the main problem with villager trading systems, if you do enchanting ONLY with the table it's horrible and takes way more resources to combine each sword, villagers allow individual books to be put into one sword, requiring no combining. Therefore it's TOO worthwhile to not have
