Things I Would Change in Minecraft. Minecraft has changed a lot from its inception, but some things have been left behind in my opinion. In this video i share my opinions on the things I’d love to see changed in an overall “quality of life” update.
Disclaimer: This is not a complaint video at all, I love minecraft and appreciate what every update brings – However as a veteran player who minecrafts everyday, I want to share some ideas I’d love to see in the game. Some of them may surprise you.
Personal thanks to Scar, Tango and other Hermits for their input on this video

Those of you suggesting water for building under: it is a method that I did not include in the video, it's not ideal because you can't remain stationary, you drown but most importantly it breaks all grass, torches and redstone beneath you, which there usually is one. Very good point there are other methods – however none of them are a perfect fix, even bonemealing warped roots, they are under the block.
Polar Bears should hunt different type of aquatic animals, especially fishes.
Husks should spawn in Dungeons if the surface biome are hot: Desert, Badlands and Savanna.
Stray should spawn in Dungeon if the surface biome are cold: Taiga, Snowy Plains, etc.
Bats should have its own biome, a random swarm event warning you that you are about to enteri theur territory. There could be some hostile bats that can hit you but won't deal much damage like Silverfish. Also, add more sounds to them because they're "atmospheric" mobs, right?
in terraria there making cetain items stack to 9999 and they also have a feature where if your around a chest with items that are the same as your inventory you press the button and they go in
I’m 16
6:17 I know your not a Redstone engineer but all you have to do is make a clock, dispenser, with some hoppers and bottom bang auto music you will still need alot of music disc but it's good
18:04 maybe like rope in terraria? if you try to place a rope on rope that's already there, it instead is added to the bottom, extending it, so its easier to build rope downwards
you need quick mod where you use a brick to insta-mine glass 😂
Grian? More like peeing!!
I love the idea of clicking the shulker in the inventory and being able to transfer items back and forth. I would like to be able to do that with the bundle as well. I also think it's a bit of a pain having various items that only stack to 16, such as eggs and honey bottles. Just make them all stack to 64. And for goodness sake, make potions stackable to 64 as well
If you are able to actually make a netherite beacon,
You should be granted with invulnerability
I guess the point of glass breaking so slowly is to prevent players from accidentally breaking it without silk touch
I wouldn't mind a potion rework
phantoms being faster than running speed is SO annoying. i honestly wouldn't mind them if placing a block over my head or running were options to avoid them, but they always find a way…
bats could be parrots but goth and polar bears could be mountable and ride faster on snow
Get mods
16:10 Bruv, java doesn't have that, get out, like that's a really useful thing to miss out on
Inventory and inventory buttons are my favorite part of this whole video.
They are adding spectator into Bedrock soon!
Haha bedrock has the jukebox thing haha
I love the unlockable inventory idea.
Just install adventure backpacks mod, for more inventory space. They also have two liquid compartments that can hold 4 buckets of most liquids. They have a crafting grid. They have tool slots which you can switch with your hotbar instantly. AND they have the capacity of a double chest. AND some of them can give you positive effects.
18:01 use potion of slow falling with elytra
With building underneath yourself, install the quark mod block all the modded items and keep the building tricks.
it is a aquare meter of glass tho mayby glass pains or panes idk how to write it
stacks of 69
A lot of these suggestions are implemented by the mod Quark by Vaskii. You should talk with him about it because he is trying to get Mojang to add that mods' features.
I hope Mojang sees this video!
What you proposed for villages has been done a decade ago. It's called the Millenaire Mod.
wow
Minecraft should totally make finishing an advancement tree rewarding and i think the best thing for it is if it unlocked inventory slots
17:55 Use a water bucket lol
Grian should play Tektopia
BEDROCK HAS A BETA SPECTATOR MODE NOW
I think 64 blocks in a stack is a reference to a 64 bit game
I made an auto disc player in my world. Just a dropper facing down into the juke box, then when the disc is done it gets taken by a hopper and an item elevator back to the original dropper. I know Grian isn't a redstone guy but it wasn't too complicated.
The reason glass breaks so slow is because it is destroyed.
I'm pretty sure you can use the red nether vines exactly as you describe how you'd want the [green] vines to work.
i hope they implemented something for protect your buildings against explosions.
I used Vanilla Tweaks to add bundles to my realm that I play on with my friends and it really was a surprisingly helpful thing. It sucks that they had to leave them out because of parity issues, but at least we can still use them on the realm
You should check out the old villager mod from beta times before villagers were ever added. that mod was crazy advanced for minecraft at the time.
bros got the terraria inventory
Honestly I think enchantments are the main problem with villager trading systems, if you do enchanting ONLY with the table it's horrible and takes way more resources to combine each sword, villagers allow individual books to be put into one sword, requiring no combining. Therefore it's TOO worthwhile to not have
ii wish villages where more like citys in skyrim
i have so many little things about minecraft that i want to improve. it's fun to see what others would improve
I agree with everything
