  1. Maybe shulkers are golems? They look surprisingly similar to purpur blocks, and have no way to respawn them, similar to the elder guardian. Also would withers not be golems? They don’t use the carved pumpkin to craft and, have no purpose to defend anything unlike other golems. What if piglins we’re trying to make a golem, and failed, which is why we now have bastion remanentes. Those are all my theories.

  2. It's weird that the ravagers don't like they are made from unliving things like iron or snow golems or the guardians but they seem to be made of something different like pillegars of even villagers so they may not be actual golems instead some kind of a beast or a monster

another weird thing is the vines on the iron golem it's like this iron golden that we just created looks like it's old or aged

  3. I feel like Illagers were former nitwit type villagers who think differently from other villagers. Notice how they always wander very far from the village? This is because they wanna travel instead of staying at one place forever. They don’t want to be bounded by generational work that’s why they refuse to have any profession.

  4. What if the villagers didn’t invent golem technology, but it was actually the old builders? They must have realised the villagers were exploitable/helpless, so they constructed golems and gave them the instructions on how to build more for protection, and this knowledge has been passed down. This could also explain why golems (usually) don’t attack players and never attack villagers, but will attack most other hostile mobs. There isn’t really much evidence to back this theory up, however it’s a thought.

  5. What about the shulkers? They are also something that can only be found inside artificial constructions, they have a similar texture with the end city, they also have a face, they can't move, and they have the ability to teleport, but won't do it by their own will ( much like the purple fruit they were constructed out of).

  6. 16:20 What if the illagers used some tough block like gold or something else, and then covered it with leather so that it's a less painful ride for the pillager that sits on top of it during raids, and then gave it iron braces and other accessories to keep the leather from coming off?

  7. Side theory: Why do some structures (like the strongholds and the ruined portals) appear decrepit and abandoned, while other structures appear largely undamaged? In other words, why do structures like the desert temple and ocean monument appear largely undamaged, while other structures fall into ruin?

  8. Okay but what about the wither? It’s made the exact same way with the same basic components as a golem (inanimate object and organically based face) so it’s not too much of a stretch to think the wither could be a golem but a far more powerful one

  9. While I do like the idea of a ravager being a golem, I think you may be overlooking the clear presence of magic in the game. Clearly the player doesn’t possess the ability to readily use magic like the evoker, but magic still plays a large part in our experience.
I think the ravager is a mythical being, created by the black magic illagers use, possibly from the poor captive villagers. The unhinged jaw with teeth, red mouth, fleshy eyes, it all points to a creature of flesh rather than inanimate material. I have a similar desire to want to see the guardians in the same way, much like how the ender dragon uses similar textured energy beams to heal itself, but the guardians certainly have more evidence to prove they are a golem.
The ravager, however, I still think is a living entity, but one distorted from the poor captive villagers (hence the “summoning”). It just has too many “fleshy” attributes to ignore in my opinion.
Let me know what you think tho

  10. My own opinion I think that ravagers were created trying to replicate iron golems but materials didn’t work so they started experimenting on villagers and other thing that explains the mouth and life like eyes they used different potions and other things but eventually got the ravager

  11. And one more thing. I think the golems were most likely originaly invented by players, or their ancestors, ancient builders. Why? Because iron golems attack all mobs that are hostile towards player (except for creepers, obviously, probably for safety reasons), but from those mobs, only zombies and illagers are hostile towards villagers. Why would they program their golems to attack creatures that are basically harmless to them?
