Hear me out… Giant cave spiders like in Skyrim and vampire bats. Bats deal half a heart of damage but they all swarm you at once
Another good one! Dwarf villagers. They can be rare and have small villages that spawn in the huge caverns. They primarily trade in ores and tools
I think it would be cool if we added more animals that live in caves. What if we add moles? Just giant moles that live in caves. You could tame them and they could help you find ores. Idk

Maybe extra darkness that will make it so torches will only emit half of its normal light but only the torches so you can use lanterns and other light blocks to emit full light
I just wanted the Glow Squid to do something. If you could get Glow Ink Sacks from it and use them to make anything like Underwater Torches or Glowsticks, which you could use when going exploring underwater so that you don't have to make Potions of Night Vision every time, it would've made the mob totally worth it, but now it's just another bad pick by the community.
I'm sorry guys, no matter how you cut it, different colored text on signs and glowing item frames are one of the least useful things you can use, builders will utilize them, but chances are most players going through the game normally won't care at all.

Depths should always be scary, the deeper you go, the more it should feed into your fears, doesn’t matter what your playing.
I mean, have you ever gone deep underground and saw what lived in caverns? None of them have eyes and it’s so horrifying.
They don’t even have to be hostile, they just need people to go “nope nope nope nope nope”
