Why don't you explode layer of wool&log, does that fail?
Could you use wooden pressure plates and have the falling dirt item blow it up?
Alright, I found a method to do this in less than one second (it will be unlisted in the playlist if you want to see it)
Maybe this is still the fastest strategy for RS/RSG/RSP/RSGP 1.16+, I'll see
EDIT: This can be used to beat 1.9-1.15 as fast as possible (SSG/RSG and peaceful variants)
