Need optimization for low end device running minecraft ? Im not promoting but im just saying of you switch to liunx mint os there will be a difference in minecraft cause liunx dont use alot of things so its waste to use 25% cpu and 45% ram for ai that you dont use, and of you dont wanna use liunx theres optimized windows version called atlas OS (WARNING YOU HAVE TO REINSTALL WINDOWS AND ALL YOUR INFORMATION MAYBE GONE)
What version of Bedrock did you play??? I’ve had Bedrock take minutes (sometimes even stalling and crashing) from simply trying to load a world. The awful performance is the sole reason why I switched to Java
Element X did something to the code to make it so He could explode a lot of TNT and a bunch of other things without the lag. Plus, he also got a new PC as well

I wouldn't be able to play minecraft if it weren't for the performance mods, went 30 fps in 5 chunks to 120 fps in 10 chunks ir more, even tried running in 24 chunks and it kinda worked out. Also i have 4 gb ram and dual core intel pentium processor with ni graphics card.
But i think if mojang does it themselves it would be better because they have more control on the game than modders do i think
I feel like this would just break mods and make it harder to make mods. I think it's better to just stay as is because if you can play java, you can still mod it with a few performance mods

For me java(no mods) runs on a smooth 60fps but bedrock struggles to run 30 fps
Didn't they optimize chunk loading for 1.21?
Java automatically is slower than C+ or any of the C derivatives.
