Ah, try lanterns instead of torches. For your house only. They are made with one torch and 8 of the little things iron ingot gives from the crafting table.

It would be cool if the mod had a feature when herobrines spawns and just stays in place for a very very long time until like it either disappears or suddenly becomes hostile
You only have to wear gold boots in the neather and they won't attack you
47:44 If you're wondering which Herobrine that is and why he looks like that because that's enderbrine he's usually in the neather but it's quite odd he's in the overworld

The piglin which have the crossbows and gold armor can be avoided by wearing gold armor and you can trade with them with gold. The Pigman that looked green and stuff, they are Neutral. They don't attack unless you do ^^

I believe your friend must’ve built his base over a slime chunk they are extremely rare chunks where slimes spawn all the time of there’s a cave or n that specific chunk
zombies and skeletons convert to drowned (the water zombies) when they are left in water for long enough
also unlike axes swords can hit multiple mobs at a time with the right enchantments
also you can cook wood in a furnace to get charcoal for more torches
also also you can make lanterns by surrounding torches with iron nuggets in the crafting table
and i believe that the ghosts cant break lanterns
also you make iron nuggets by putting a single iron ingot into a empty crafting table
I'd just like to say thank you, Librarian, for introducing me to this mod, I've had immense fun with it, I would have thought I'd be used to his presence with how often he has popped up but nope, spine tingles every damn time and that's not even including all the other shenanigans he likes to pull!

Hey I don't know you play RPG but omori might interest you is 6 years in making game started in 2014 and finish at 2020 is really good horror game and interesting is how it do it friendly on the outside but deep down in black space is most disturbing part is like jumike is another horror game like it you might heard it is that but there is reason in this why everything is it is the game is 20 hour long and real amazing and with heart worming ending ever it made me cry 3 times you should try it
i honestly love the kinda makeshift look your home base has, especially with the mixed stone and wood parts, i think it'd be really nice if you could keep that aesthetic

You could try using glowstone or redstone torches instead of regular ones. You could also replace the floor with glass in the cellar room where there's a cave beneath you

More minecraft for sure, this series is so good. Imagine using this mod on like a regular adventure map? Just playing a fun little story with creepy encounters popping up here and there throughout?
I think a series like this can only be made by someone without a decent bit of modern knowledge. Unfortunately if Librarian weren't so green this wouldn't be nearly as tense. This series would have a much less foreboding tone if he was basically speedrunning the early game like I tend to do. Watching this kind of gameplay can be quite tiring since I'm so used to people having diamonds episode two, but this is different. Because he doesn't know every single little detail of mining, terrain generation, sounds, and all the new content, everything unfamiliar could be a threat. I love this little series, and honestly I hope it goes on for a while.

Hey Librarian you can also use optifine, it enables dynamic lights especially when youre holding torch in your hand, it also enables you to zoom in by holding 'C' and thats a pretty neat feature to spot something in the distance watching you. Anyway i love this series and i hope for part 3!!
