Three weeks ago we got snapshot 20w51a which was the last snapshot of the year 2020. But also we didn’t get a minecraft 1.17 snapshot 21w01a. We did get a couple of tweets from kingbdogz why there was no snapshot! Minecraft earth will get shut down on June 30th and you won’t be able to play minecraft earth after that date! I also found some concept art for archeology in minecraft 1.17!

Minecraft snapshots are cancelled
No Minecraft snapshot again and Minecraft Earth ends?!! 🙁
I really don't get why they won't release a single snapshot. The point of them is to release I finished versions of the content so we can test and exploit them. It's to give us a snapshot of what's going on inside Mojang. Particularly with the precedent of previous update cycles, I personally think it's a bit wrong of Mojang to not give us SOMETHING. Even if it's unfinished.
Hopefully it comes soon… Great videos btw!
