Theory of allay and vex i think that
Allay were roaming around and then the evoker use a spell and then Transformer the allay into vex and illagers capture more allay in there outpost and mansion (by the way it will be very helpful if anybody sub me)
Man I'm facing an issue that in an existing village if I killed an iron golem than the iron golem won't respawn even having 10 villegers won't do anything. This problem carried out to iron farm problem where only cats are spawning not a single iron golem isn't spawning. Please let me know the update about this problem.

The Vex's hitbox didn't get any bigger, hence why it "retains" an oversized hitbox, because the new Vex model is much shorter compared to the old model.
So no, the fight with these dudes will be exactly the same.

I like the new Vex model to rally does look like an Undead version of an Allay
I kinda like the new vex being modelled after the alley it actually makes perfect sense since these two mobs has the same vibes but with different personalities

why pillagers capture alleys because of the lore they turn alleys into a vex

The New Vex model is great. If it was a story, the illagers were experimenting on Allies to change them into Vexes
