  31. Ok ill say it… this is actually the most inefficient way of draining it. Placing sand for the outline is a waste of time. Just use glass already. Idk why you would waste your time again with removing the sesgrass. It gets removed by its own when ur draining it. There should be a 5 block gap in between. Place a layer of leaves in the middle every 2 blocks repeat and break with a hoe. Smelt your sponges. First get a lot of them and when you use like half of them use kelp that is nearby for fuel. When your done with the other half just repeat. The torches should be placed onto the next gravel block and so on so when you break the gravel block it destroys the torch as well. Also first drain the actual monument and then the area around it so guardians dont bother you. Ive drained 6 monuments in my world already so trust me and dont try to tell me im stupid. Ive been through all of this ive tried all of the techniques and this mine is bef the fastest while the ones shulkercraft used is the least efficient. No hate towards them:)
