  1. OH NOOOOOOOOOOOO. In my excitement at realising that the 2 pulses would fire the droppers the perfect number of times I FORGOT THAT CRAFTERS SPIT OUT ITEMS IF THERE'S NO CONTAINER IN FRONT OF THEM AND NOW I'M VERY EMBARRASSED

  2. Why I believe the Crafter should not be added to Minecraft

    Loss of Engagement:

Auto-crafters in Minecraft have the potential to reduce player engagement and immersion. Crafting is one of the core mechanics of the game, and automating the process through auto-crafters will take away the sense of accomplishment and connection with the in-game world. Many players enjoy the hands-on experience of crafting items and appreciate the sense of achievement that comes with it.

    Resource Overuse:

While auto-crafters can conserve resources, they will also lead to overuse if not managed carefully. Automated systems can inadvertently deplete valuable resources like iron, redstone, and gold when they are used to create complex machinery. This will lead to resource shortages, making it challenging to craft other important items manually.

    Reduced Creativity:

Minecraft encourages creativity and problem-solving. Auto-crafters reduce the need for players to come up with creative solutions for complex crafting problems. The game's appeal lies in the flexibility it offers for players to devise their own crafting solutions, and using auto-crafters will limit this creativity.

    Complexity and Maintenance:

Building and maintaining an auto-crafter can be complex and time-consuming. For players looking for a straightforward, less technical gaming experience, dealing with the intricacies of redstone contraptions and automated systems can be overwhelming and take away from the simplicity that attracted them to the game in the first place.

    Impact on Gameplay Balance:

Automating certain crafting processes will disrupt the intended balance of the game. For instance, automating the creation of powerful automatic farms or potions can make the game significantly easier, diminishing the challenge and adventure.

    Summary

Auto-crafters might offer convenience and productivity in Minecraft; they also detract from the game's core experience by reducing engagement, creativity, and immersion. Their use will also lead to resource mismanagement and unintended changes in gameplay balance, potentially impacting the overall enjoyment of the game for players.

  3. You should try playing on fabric; a technical (the kind that manipulates game) redstone YTber uses carpet which contain some very useful tools for testing things. In particular, you would be interested in the tools, used to log production flow of a build and a warp tool that send your game into overdrive and ticks forward your game at rapid speeds for specified number of ticks

I feel that you would find such tools very useful and would simplify any sort of long period testing. Only downside is that it’s only available for fabric

  4. I know I'm late to this, but imagine if the crafter system also had a furnace system to smelt the swords and armour from gold farms…
Dumb idea, but more gold and smaller storage possibly?
