  1. I have a funny story about using mushroom blocks to build. I had an environmental science project and the material I built my theoretical environmentally friendly house out of was basically man made sedimentary stone, and since I can’t draw to save my life, I built a house in Minecraft and gave the class a tour. The entire house was made of mushroom stems because of their wavy layered pattern. Great excuse to play Minecraft in class for a week

  2. The Llama "train" is officially referred to as a caravan. It's fun early game to wander around with a caravan while you find a spot for a permanent base. It's better than 10 donkeys on leads as they always follow the one a head of them; however, you still have the same old challenges you have with leads breaking. They are also quite expensive to breed at a full hay bale per llama.

  3. I actually love mud because it's not a full block, so items can get picked up by hoppers through it, but since it's a dirt-based block, crops and other plants can grow on it. So it's great for auto farms

  4. Wet sponges stack. Bring stacks plus some coal, bucket, furnace. Replace coal w bucket while drying sponge to collect water. Because buckets of water do not stack. Useful for the nether. Didn't think of the snow bucket idea…that was helpful thank you.
