You might also like these gear ratio machines, doubling the ratio again and again and again, until it takes billions of rotations of the first gear to get one rotation of the last. You could essentially do the same by chaining these hopper clocks. 4 items in the first lead to one tick in the second, four in the second, one tick in the third etc…
An interesting idea is having a five by five patch of dirt with mushroom grass on the edge on one side and regular grass on the other side and see which one fill the most spaces every time you reset it.

experiment idea: A chicken on a treadmill, when the chicken makes it to the end it gets set free and a new chicken gets put on the treadmill. The point of the experiment would be to test how many chickens are able to earn their freedom.

Experiment idea: Find a way to make a nether portal work underwater. After seeing you complete that underwater ruined portal, science MUST have a way to be able to use it, right?
