honestly the only thing that needs changing is the people in it. change them to actual cgi characters even if they are the same people. something not blocky in a blocky world is awfull

You know its serious when you sort of understand what he's saying.
Either have it entirely be blocks or have it entirely be realistic. This is the worst of both worlds. It's a shame that this movie is probably going to flanderize the actual Minecraft lore.

It's weird that they went hyper-fidelity on the mobs, but then added real actors… Like, if you're not going to go the minimalist Minecraft aesthetic, going hyper-fidelity gives you the leeway to add convincingly expressive characters without going live-action. They could've just done full CGI.
