I sadly don't think we'll get a PS5 edition (as much as I want one). Instead I think we'll just get Bedrock and PS4 Edition (that doesn't get updated anymore) which sucks since I wanna play the new updates on something that isn't buggy as hell, has an extremely ugly UI and weird physics.
Basically Bedrock sucks.
Is there anything I can do to get Minecraft on my ps5 digital edition if I’ve never had a ps4? I just switched from Xbox and there is no where to buy Minecraft in the store.

I really hope there won't be an exclusive version of minecraft for the ps5 because that would mean, later in the future, minecraft for the ps4 will stop being updated, plus, why make a different game for a different console that is backwards compatible with a console they are making a game for, it wouldn't make sense.

Well, ray tracing is not avainible only on PC. Its also avainible on console but, since ps5 and xbox series activate backwards compatibility mode, it does not have the required specs even tho it technically has.
