Ok, great Video. I'm a noob, playing for 3 weeks now.
I went 2 peace's of netherit armour with protection 4 and 2 with fire protection. I died to lava to many times lol.
Now I'll test that on bedrock. If it works the same, that would be great!
Sadly, the shield is also a way to deal with blast damage so….

Except, I fear lava so much that I get make sure to also get a piece of fire protection IV 🙂
I use full prot cause i can easily survive falling in lava, 2 creeper explosion and i have almost maxed out the most dangerous type of damage: melee. Wattles didn't mention magic damage (witches can deal loads of it and ender dragon as well, but it's more important in pvp) and fall damage. I know you can have feather falling, but with protection you are just safe from any less than about 150 fall (i didn't count so number differs) only to nether i have my golden boots with feather and fire prot cause ghasts blazes and lava are most dangerous there.

That's what i wanted
