  1. personally, the villager changes feel like a huge nerf but doesn't solve the core issues about how players use villagers. like people are still going to stick them in a massive prison cell "trading halls". the wandering trader is just being oversold, i would still rather a function to either turn them off, or control where they spawn. the best part about this is the fact that they made it an experimental feature, which tells me they are working on it and that none of these features are permanent.

  2. This is the worst snapshot to date imo. I get that it becomes easy to get these things midgame, but this is the worst way to go about it. I will not be updating to this version of the game anytime soon. Good for those diamonds tho.

  3. God I hope they don't implement those villager changes. If you wanna say villager trading is OP, okay, fine, I'll agree with that to an extent. But making it biome locked as to what enchantments we're going to get when the whole point of minecraft is generally to go find a place you like to build and build and punishing people for liking that place is dumb

  4. Changing the villagers will ruin the game for me, I enjoy playing with villagers how they are now and an extra challenge will be quite annoying and on top of that you can't stack curing villagers, this might actually be the worst update Minecraft has ever seen. Mojang should learn from 343's failures with Halo–> If there's nothing wrong don't fix it!

  5. It’s going to be a huge pain to make a villager breeder in each biome, wait for trades to reset, get what I need and repeat in another biome. Villagers are already a huge pain to move. It wouldn’t be worthwhile anymore. Might as well just go AFK fishing.

  6. The new experimental villager enchantment thing is extremely bad and makes me rage. If they actually add that I’ll immediately mod it and change it back.

  7. You guys too reliant on villagers. A cow farm, sugarcane farm, xp farm, enchantment table and a grindstone should still be as effective as villager trading. It takes longer but is less of a hassle (villagers suck). Just make books or anything enchantable, enchant, don't like it? Then use a grindstone. Don't have enough xp? Farm your xp for like 5 minutes. Plus you have benefits with mob loot, food and extra stuff.

  8. I like biome-specific books as the creative idea it is but not in practice. It's already incredibly difficult to make a good villager trading hall (several hours for a professional novice like me) but now it'd be even harder. I would be happy to keep the guaranteed books at expert level tho!

  9. oh cool so mojang now adjusts the game to match 24/7 players or the ones that play the game as their job now too?😅
imagine how much ffing time villagers already need to perfect them and now imagine how much more time these fcks need if these changes come through… for casual players that can‘t play the game for hours daily this sucks hard.
and then you don‘t even get max level books anymore? this is a joke for real… oh and let‘s not forget that they can be cured only 1 time at max so bye low cost trades👌🏽

  10. villagers need to be easier to transport, if they force us to travel all over the world just to get some enchants then having to do everything by rail is going to be so slow and boring

  11. I think upping the diamond generation rates just makes the game too easy in the early game. I'm all for adding more things that need diamonds, but considering that most players aren't going to try to collect 250 of each armor trim like some of the big youtubers, there is no reason to make it easier than it needs to be. The trims are supposed to be difficult to get anyway, and upping the diamond generation rates just ruins the achievement of it.

  12. I can agree with making certain enchanted book trades available at higher levels, but region locking them, while interesting, is going to make life hell on earth for single players

  13. Honestly they are probably going to get a lot of backlash for the villager updates. Also if you update and already have trades locked in I wonder if it will update them? Hopefully not
