About this video: The top 5 best shaders for Minecraft 1.18 are on this list, and if you don’t find the perfect shaders for you, you can find a list of ten total shaders packs in the description above. However, I am very confident that you will be able to find the perfect Minecraft shaders pack for you in this video. So, without anymore delay, here is our list of the best Minecraft shaders for 1.18.1!
First on our list is Continuum. This shaders is back has a brighter white light in the daytime. Continuum Shaders interiors lite up with torches are more yellow though and will be dark until the lighting adjusts. As far as water goes, it is very good looking with the ability to actually see a bit under water without having to dive down. At night, Continumm with brightness all the way does allow you to explore if there is no light sources. With light sources, it is very easy to see where you are going and things are lite up really well.
Next up we have Sildur’s Vibrant Shaders. As the name implies, this is a very bright and vibrant 1.18 shader in the day time. Interiors are darker even after some light adjustment with Sildur’s Vibrant Shaders though. If you use torches as your main lighting source, they are also very yellow. Clouds are completely custom with Sildur’s and look very good. Due to the moon being a light source in Sildur’s Vibrant Shaders pack, you can see very well at night even without torches. In mines and caves without light, lighting is recommended, but it isn’t required as you can still see somewhat.
Up third is Chocapic13 Shaders. As far as day time lighting goes, Chocoapic is a bit more yellow compared to the other packs on this list. This shader doesn’t have god rays from the sun, but the sun does look very bright and is a true light source. Water is very easy to see thourgh and almost looks clear. Exploring without light at night is dark but possible as the moon is used as a light source. With torches though, you will have no problem seeing at night with Chocapic13 Shaders.
Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable Shaders, also known as SEUS, comes in forth. This is another classic Minecraft shaders pack that is still actively updated. SEUS is a very bright white light shaders pack. The motion blur can be intense at times, but that can be adjusted in the settings. Lighting transitions quickly when going inside where light from torches will be a bit yellow. Moving to night time, it is nearly pitch black. It is the darkest pack on this list by far as it is nearly impossible to explore at night without any lighting.
Last but not least on this is actually my favorite Minecraft shaders for 1.18 – BSL Shaders. BSL shaders has bright, white light in the day time with very visible in the shadows. Inside, you will have more white light instead of yellow with torches giving off a lot of light. Unlit areas are still decently visible with BSL Shaders. In regards to water, there isn’t a lot of reflection, but you can actually see into the water in order to look for resource and fish. Overall, BSL shaders is a great pack allowing for the best playing experience with shaders I have seen.
And there you have it! That is our list of the top 5 shaders for Minecraft. If you think we missed a Minecraft shaders pack for 1.18.1, let us know in the comments. Otherwise, if you did enjoy our list of the best Minecraft shaders in 1.18, give this video a thumbs up and subscribe. Thanks in advance

where can u download the sildurs vibrant shaders
you know we love you right?
this dude talking too much and too fast
wtf man
To fix the shadow flickering bug with chocapic13, you need to disable shadow frustrtum culling.
if you're going to realism with the shaders then dark being DARK is good.
is there a way to get rid of the realistic water in BSL??? and also the realistic clouds?? does anyone know of a shader that keeps the vanilla feel but with the shadows? chocapic 13 doesnt work in the nether :(((((
Was gonna use the first one you said but im not paying for it
bro plays 8 fps
Takla
Enhanced default doesn't get enough love.
It's a greatly customizable shader with things like subtle god rays, white light, and reflections on the water that aren't too much.
it lives up to the name… Enhanced Default. It's absolutely my go to, even though I have a 2060 and a pretty beefy pc.
It's just gorgeously classic, and includes things like cell shading and tons of color options.
Haha I don’t know how anyone keeps up with how fast your talk… but the description was useful thank you!
cute doggo tho 0:02

i have continuum downloaded and thank btw for all the tutorials but the underground for said shader is broken it seem. is this the only shader that has this probablem or is it just a normal thing for all shaders
cool dog bro
i love your vids and your dog
how can I adjust the lighting the clouds or the sky is so bright (glowing) ?? (on my Mac) i wanna play but its to bright(its the Chocapic13_V9_Medium.zip)😟
I also love Complementary shaders. Mostly because it has blocks that Emmitt different color light whereas most shades only Emmitt torch light
Hi, I have a little problem with my shader, lines across the sun in the shadow, and at the end (angles) of the black, it never did it to me, I installed all my optifine, why? what are the good shaders for me?… in 1.18.1.
