This Minecraft 1.17 Seed SUCKS – But You Should Use It Anyway

Seriously, I’ve never been so inspired by a terrible seed

Minecraft Bedrock is the same as Minecraft Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Minecraft PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Minecraft Switch, Minecraft PE and of course Minecraft Windows 10

  1. I started this one with the bonus chest so that I could start with some saplings. I am not really interested in the added difficulty of no trees, but I really like the more aquatic worlds. This one has everything I want in an aquatic based world, plus just under 1km from spawn is one of the biggest villages I have ever seen.

  2. Note that technically you can use any Bedrock seed in Java, but there are some differences still. Things like ore generation, structure and tree placements will be different. The spawn point can be vastly different too, so it could be handy to see the spawn coords so java players can tp there. and then reset the world spawn [for those in java and wanting to play the seed with the same experience] For positive seeds, you can use them as-is. Negative seeds need to have 4294967296 added to them. Unfortunately the revers is not true, not all java seeds can be converted to Bedrock, because the seed space is much larger in java. [64bit vs 32bit] having said that, seeds in the range of 0 to 2147483648 can be used directly, and seeds from 2147483649 to 4294967296 you have to subtract 4294967296. Negative seeds and seeds greater than 4294967296 will not work.

In the case of this seed [tested with 1.17], the spawns are vastly different locations, but if I to to where you spawned [luckily you had the coordinates showing at one point] They are somewhat similar. The main island is a bit smaller, that nearby shipwreck is above water and right beside the island, so access is easier. the portal locations are a bit different. The geodes are in different places, there is no surface cave on the island, There are two ocean monuments nearby [300 blocks apart from each other along the same X value], which could be interesting. And from flying around, land with trees and other resources isn't really that far away, but is out of view from most of the locations you highlighted. Interesting seed indeed.

  3. If you load up this Seed on JAVA, you spawn at -200,200. If you then boat or fly to 1925,0 like the Bedrock spawn is….. you get a very similar situation. Big find is 2 Ocean Monuments within sight range of 1900,0 as well as a ruined portal under water, shipwreck above water and amethyst geode underwater. Still no trees for about 1k blocks but on the way you pass a jungle island around the 500,0 mark… at least you can see it from there.

I'm always interested to see how the Java seed is different from the Bedrock ones. Basic generation seems similar at least but structures are quite different it seems.

  4. Excited to watch this because it reminded me of the only hardcore world I ever played. Java seed -2447787575593026150

But I made a rule to let myself seedmap to the closest village to start the game, which was a suuuper fun swim past a ton of drowned, including tridents, and avoiding the multiple ocean monuments. It was also the first world I saw mega taiga on, so good memories.
I died to a panda btw.

  5. This seed is amazing for me, I suck at survival, (I have about 1 and a half hundred worlds) and I suck at building for the most part but I'm good at aquatic style builds.

  6. I have a java seed that is very similar to that. 324 You spawn on a tiny island with a shipwreck nearby. The nearest land on the mainland is badlands biome and there are no trees in at least 500 blocks in any direction. You also have jungle, warm ocean and mooshroom biomes about 1000 blocks from spawn. A mega taiga to the north and a roofed forrest to the NW. Its a pretty good spawn once you get your first base setup with a boat. The hard part is finding a suitable base.

  7. You don’t even have to go to the shipwreck first you can just go to the ruined portal and grab an axe then go and mine the wood grab the loot from the shipwreck all without dying

  9. If you punch enough sand take it with you to the boat, maybe a stack, you can quickly manipulate yourself an air pocket inside the boat using the sand. This way you can do this on hard-core. This would be very doable & challenging. I only play hard-core nowadays. I will start this seed and keep you informed. Thanks for the challenge .

  10. Lmao I actually pity for all the people who could even find this remotely difficult. This level your at is so damn low that even I can barely comprehend it. You play Minecraft for what reason? Lmao, but I guess most men are really just gonna be betas. See you wouldn't get it, after years of grinding this game, I should be crowned the official god of this game. My sigma male minecraft GRINDSET is a concept you couldn't even begin to understand. Pathetic betas and alphas.

  11. You are at 71 height, so there is a lot of dirt, plus sand.
I'd build a dirt bridge out to the shipwreck, then drop sand in a 3 x 3, dig down the middle and get the wood.
Of course I'd have to watch out in the dark.

  12. <– Happens to have made a datapack (java) for playing in an island/ocean based survival world (using custom ingle biome world generation). My advice for an easier start: USE the starter chest option. Also, make a door to survive underwater for an air pocket,. Anywho, beautiful seed for if I ever play bedrock.
