The New Minecraft Speedrun World Record is FAKE.
Main Channel: @LewisFulham

Original Run: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLOrmm4TD_8&t=1s&pp=ygUMbG95YSA2OjMwIHdy

This run is faked by Loya, someone with a history of claiming set-seed runs as “personal best” times, for different achievements. Whether this is like previous cheaters, who maybe had rolled these seeds, but felt embarrassed because their time didn’t match their skill level, or simply that this was just some harmless fun, is unbeknownst to the community, as Loya deleted her discord account months ago.

So, if you see the 6:30 World Record for Minecraft Speedrunning on your YouTube Homepage soon… don’t be fooled.

  1. Got a lot of "chat pros" on this video!
Incase I wasn't clear at the end, this run is unverifiable, not submitted to the boards, and entirely faked by a runner who has a history of posting faked, "joke" runs.

I understand that you may think it's real, but hundreds of speedrunners know that it's not.

  2. so people are not allowed to upload fake runs? is it allowed to write world record in the title? can't one write "real" in the video description? If this is bothering someone just don't be on youtube. Why are people not allowed to play the game how they like without someone judging them? Nothing has even be uploaded. If i want to make a speedrun in the newest version of minecraft and cheat whatever i can and whereever, i can do that, in fact nobody cares.

  3. I think you're probably right. Due to not seeing the loading screen, that really implies its probably NOT a new world record. Plus, she couldn't even kill the dragon with that number of explosives! if they're not skilled enough at something as simple as that, i doubt they'd be able to get the WR

  4. mapless treasure has only been used in the last 4 wrs in this category btw 🤓
but yeah as someone who's followed some stuff from them in ssg, loya's just… strange. they came out of nowhere with insane mechanics, then privated all of their youtube videos, and like idk how this was first posted or shared or what because i really haven't heard or seen much from them in a while. it's such a bizarre case and like people were trolling and seriously pretending to try to convince others it was real, and i don't know whose fault this or what happened behind the scenes, is but i don't think it's funny to do this, even though it was clearly an attempt at a joke
