  1. Personally I hated the void fog. It made it difficult to mine all the way down to bedrock. Plus, you could more easily get stuck or fall into the void if you weren't careful. I'm glad they got rid of it

  2. Bro I hated void fog. Not only because it was terrifying the first time I encountered it, but also because there was basically no way to remove it back in the day before mods came out to do just that. I'm so glad they removed it, it offered basically nothing to the game and only harmed more than it helped.

    The lack of visibility and the quick jump between the fog being there vs not made it quite literally the most annoying and jarring thing in the game.

    If they DID add it back though, they could use their new biome mechanics to make the fog fade in and out like with entering a Crimson vs Warped forest in the nether, or even make the fog visible before you enter the lower part of the world, basically obscuring the bedrock beneath it from view and making any hole look like it leads straight into the void without it actually doing so.
