I want to bring attention to some very serious flaws in Minecraft Bedrock Edition, primarily consisting of game breaking glitches that Mojang have specifically said they will not fix. Second off, I need to talk about a fairly secret version of Minecraft that certain Marketplace partners have access to in order to make their creations, wherein I’ll be talking about how Mojang have reacted to these versions getting leaked to the public.

  2. Mojang will suffer from the same fate as many other games ive played. "Keep making bad decisions while thinking they are good decisions but those decisions will ruin the game and you wonder why"

  3. even java has its issues since 1.18 java has been a unplayable mess performance wise unless your using sodium etc because for some reason i went from 200 plus fps pre update to 30 post update maybe 45 if i was lucky sodium fixes this but i should not need a mod to make java run well more so on a 2600x 1660ti system that is basically asleep playing mc. So its not only bedrock they are not fixing,

  4. I’ve played Minecraft for my entire life, to see how much of a clusterfuck the games development has become is just really disheartening. I’ve only ever played java because it has access to better mods, which is the only way i can even stomach the game nowadays. This game has so much potential to be one of the best games ever created, yet i don’t think it will ever reach such a state despite being owned by a company with almost infinite resources. the fact that modders can make a more interesting, fleshed out, and generally clean experience than the people that literally made the game and have access to much more powerful tools is just flat out pathetic.

  5. I have always seen the java edition as the only true edition. And this video reinforces that.
Also, being a Linux-nerd, I can't even play "bedrock" edition without some major workarounds that might slow the game down.

  6. Minecraft in my opinion is the MOST neglected videogame, I waited EIGHT years for new content, when I came back there was some new blocks, pandas and bees 😰 like wtf is up with them never adding even OPTIONAL mobs

  7. Ngl, not being able to go 30 million blocks out and a few features not being in bedrock arent that big of a deal as ant makes them out to be, when does the average person go more than 10k blocks out at most anyways

  8. Saw your feature on the last "Ask Mojang" in regards to the farlands so it definitely takes some courage to say the least for you to speak out about this. I appreciate your transparency and I honestly think Mojang should even halt production on their newest venture "Legends" when "Dungeons" failed expectations and O.G Minecraft is suffering tenfold from all this.

  9. I think the funniest thing is that java isn't exactly known for its ability to write/read files, nor is it known for managing RAM well. The fact that java performs better really shows that bedrock edition is extremely poorly coded and overall a dumpster fire.

  10. Whats even more insane is the fact that bedrock is the platform that makes them the most money, it should be the better platform (based on the fact that its more profitable to invest into) but it isn't, because the people working on it don't care.

  11. I might see the mountains in about a year in the Android version, legit. Currently at 1.9M in "One Way" on the Western front (so -1.9M).
PS: Minecraft is tile-based, not voxel. The entities may have that look, but it's tiles otherwise.

  12. Bedrock sucks. I took a long break from minecraft then I bought minecraft on Xbox one. I immediately noticed so many changes. I had to Google what happened and I discovered the creation of bedrock edition. Bedrock is acting like Taco Bell getting rid of everything I love but leaving all the crap I don't want. Just to top it all off they seem to only want to patch glitches and bugs that benefit the player. I have build a trophy world and mojang flags any play who gets too many trophies in my world.

  13. The downfall of Minecraft started with the original email between Notch and Microsoft about any potential of selling Minecraft or Mojang. From there on it has been nothing but a crumbling legacy of what was or could have been. The fact it took so long to FEEL like downfall is a testament to what was built before that sale was discussed for the first time.
As soon as Microsoft became involved any original goals, intents or values of the creator, team or community was replaced by cost benefit analysis, and profit first decision making. It really is that simple.

  14. Man hearing all this…I'm glad I have java and still do and have ignored my friends who tell me to buy bedrock. Also lots of companies and corporations are turning a blind eye to real problems. Anything from some things as simple as this to political crap that has no place in the issue.

  15. but half of these are stupid, they dont take all their most liked bugs seriusly because random ones that happen a million blocks from spawn are getting voted to the top

  16. this is just the surface, there’s more like disappointing overhyped updates with missing promises features, them basically releasing an entire update before the update is out, almost deleting polar bears because “they seem lonely” and deleting firefly’s because “frogs eat them”. also the really poor and lazy mob votes

  17. They're not going to change with the updates. They know they can get away with over-promising and under-delivering. We're on 1.19, and we still haven't seen half of what was promised two updates ago.

As for the Java/Bedrock deal, that plays into a theory of mine that formed when they announced account migration. They are only doing that to make it easier to stop supporting Java Edition. Why would they support the version that's easier to mod when they can force people to use the marketplace for what's essentially paid mods?

I've been playing the game for over 10 years, but recently I've been questioning why I still play it.

  18. Microsoft just trying to get universal control in krder to force a paid subscription to use online features like everything else they do with xbox etc
