He will disappear since he's like the wandering trader. He will come back with different trade same spawning of wandering trader.
You can put a hopper on it but didn't get the items inside the bonsai. I don't recommend also putting it on the top because there's a chance that the bonsai teleport to anywhere. Use conveyer instead on the bottom of the bonsai then hopper to collect the residues.
You can also craft the miner too if you want to summon him.
Make buckets using stencils only costs 1 iron then instead of 3
Also you can make bars using stencils and you gets two bars for one ore, same for diamonds and emeralds

I think you can put the Bonsai pot straight on top of a Chest, you might have to combine it with another hopper first to make it a Hopper Bonsai pot.
That was awesome. I forgot all about the cakes. I've been digging all over the place trying to find other areas. I've got tons of cobble from it but well now I need to make cakes don't I?
Yes you can use hoppers under the bonsai pots. They are so nice. The regular trees take forever to grow.

Dibz a sea lantern and gold helmet in the crafting table makes a very cool item that would come in handy

Been antsy today (my first map dropped on marketplace today) so what better way to distract myself then to get caught up on Dibz's StoneBlock videos. 😛 I bought this as soon as I heard it was coming and knew you'd be playing! I kind of delayed watching since I was playing and didn't want to learn too much about the map before hand. I will till you that I have heard that Squidgy and Dan have hidden other goodies besides what you found in the library.
The cakes was an ingenious idea! So far I have been to 2 cake zones. And both have been pretty epic. The builds are just absolutely awesome. The mining zone can get pretty dicey so you definitely want to get some torches next time. Can't wait to see you explore the area. 🙂
