  1. Yoooo! New channel look, new intro, outro, etc. The intro music may be changing over time, but I wanted to throw the new look out there! There will be a dedicated video about it in the coming days, including a pretty sweet merch launch as well 😉

  2. people need to stop complainin all the time its good they are chanin combat this will add new weapon choice like maybe a dagger or halberd simplicity is nice but it gets boring a system that is complex has more depth into it i like this combat system

  3. I think 16 is too much, perhaps cap potions at 8 to reduce the length of fights.

I also think making their consume speed faster is a bit much, make them stack, or make them drink faster, but definitely not both because then they become too powerful.

Interrupting eating/drinking with damage is a great change, prevents tanking by chugging potions or Gapples and requires you to be a little more strategic, great change.

    Love perfectly accurate bows.

I'm not really a fan of making snowballs a key part of combat, but I don't see a good alternative.

I think in addition to all these changes they should also increase the cool down timer on Ender Pearls, I don't entirely know what's reasonable but right now pearling away and chugging potions seems faaar too powerful.

  4. I like the potions a lot but, cant they just give golden carrots a new use?
The only use was healing horses and giving saturation and now they removed the saturation.
Maybe let the golden carrots heal a few hp or give an effect?
The carrots now will be just a waste of gold when first they were useful.

  5. I have a lot of thoughts on this.

Let me start by saying this: *slower combat is better.* Slower combat allows for more interesting fights to occur which evolve more interestingly. Additionally, slower combat allows for the combat system to be more strategy-based instead of skill based, in a way which I think balances the two very well.

I think that the attack speed is too fast. Fast combat is inherently boring, and so the attack speed needs to be changed. I also don't like the changes with food. I quite honestly think that the best way to solve the issue with food is to implement a thirst meter, which only goes down due to activity, and have the hunger meter only be used for healing. Additionally, there shouldn't be one single best food. Each food should have unique upsides and downsides which require active thought to determine.

I think that one of the best ways to make combat more strategy-based is to give each weapon a specialty. Swords can sweep, axes take down shield, hoes bring players in, shovels have great knockback, etc. Also, swords should be the only one to be able to take Sharpness, Smite, and Bane of Arthropods.

I'd also like to see the Fletching Table be put to good use, and I think that the combat snapshots would be the perfect time to do it.

I'd also post this on r/Minecraft or r/MinecraftSuggestions, but I can't, as the moderators there think its a good idea to infinitely punish people for finite crimes.

  6. The combat changes is honestly something Mojang needs to give up with, Minecraft’s combat is best when it is simple. How the combat is right now in bedrock is how it should be (Wow Something Bedrock Is actually doing right for once) these new changes just feel unnecessary to me apart from stackable potions.

  7. this is so bad lol, why don't they add a gamerule command where you can just choose between old and new combat system, that will allow servers to fully update to new versions, and all players would be happy… Just my thoughts tho

  8. New intro? New logo? As a little personal input i found your channel all the way back in 2013 and to see it has grown so much and also the content has matured in such a refined way that its amazing to think this is the same person who did ant farm survival and hunt for the golden apple. Im happy I've stayed and watched because i dont see that ending anytime soon. Thank you ant for all the laughs and educated videos.
