The tree should be huge and the Heart needs to be hidden inside a huge tree so it will take time for you to take it off.. If Mojang didn't do that challenging tip, I would build it on my own
If you are building a defense for your base, you could place loads of hearts below the ground covered by a block like obsidian and i could act as a good defense from other players at night when you aren't around

I hope that the creaking is similar to the zoglin in that it will attack nearly anything in range, not just the player. Preferably only non-flying creatures so it can work in tandem with the allay for mob killing and drop collection stations that you can just plop down around your world.
I like it a lot, but I do hope they add something to prevent getting attacked by your own creackers. A creaking totem or just having an extra creaking heart in your inventory would be fine.

The thing is, there’s literally no incentive to go to the pale garden at night, and thus, no reason to put your self in harms way..
