  1. Who would do such a thing anyway? That is just human torture. 😢 I couldn't imagine how sad all of the players on the server were from getting thier emails and passwords stolen. I hope everyone that experienced this is ok from this huge impact. And that guy who did all of that just for money just seems heartless to me. I really don't like minecraft players who abuse thier hacks it's not cool. 😠

  2. Social engineering is scary. Axie Infinity is another extreme example when hackers stole $620 MILLION real dollars by infiltrating and impersonating admins to gain majority control over the "cryptography impenetrable" servers

  3. Between this one and SalC1's video, this poor technologically outdated server has seen more epic tales and mindblowing situation upbringings in a few months that it has ever witnessed in more than a decade.

  4. Now, if you compare the information from this video and from recent SalC1 video, we can see why his generous donation of 1500$ to move the Minecraft Online server to newer machinery (so the server doesn't run on 3-4 TPS all the time) didn't work out – they were inflitrated and busy with the hacker attack…

  5. Its sad how he wasted a year just to annoy people and steal their stuff, with that programming talent he couldve made one heck of a living…
At the very least with that talent, you can hack into bad people accounts, aka- A Kitboga moment

  6. This video is a fascinating look at the history of Minecraft and its oldest server. It's amazing that the server was able to survive for so long without being hacked. While the hack is unfortunate, it's a testament to the dedication of the server's community that it was able to last as long as it did. Thanks for sharing this interesting story!

  7. Wait bro, don't they have a development team leader that approves the code of the developers before merge?
How did this guy merged his code in the game? They gave him access to everything?

  8. It's not a hack if it's done from the inside, if all you have to do is add your own code you didn't hack it, you just ruined it. Every 8 year old can go download a backdoor rootkit and install it to a server if they have back-end access.
Don't call these kids hackers lol, they did not penetrate the security. They gave access to some idiot who abused his power to add code.
This is actually more like griefing than hacking. The is equates to someone adding a redstone trap in your base, is that hacking or griefing?

He was then found shanked to death in the showers the next day. No witness have come forward and investigators have marked the case as "closed."
