I tried converting an old world to an infinite with c&c enabled. It had the old bedrock level and then a void underneath. About the size of a rendered chunk below.
let me know when creepers blowing your stuff up can be turned off! I don't care if they kill me, but leave my stuff alone!

I made a world with the update and i got over a stack of diamonds in less than 30 minutes by just searching caves its op they might make diamond rarer because of it
I just want to know one thing, please. My current server that me and friends play on, do we have to stop playing on it when 1.18 goes live? Is Wattles saying that you simply cannot do anything about it, and you have to start all over?
Now I guess those who were trapped in bedrock now have the chance to free themselves

That is so strange. When I added caves and cliffs to my world. I tried mining down in my base and the bedrock was still there at Y level 5 or whatever. It seemed nothing had changed at all wherever I had previously placed blocks.
However my main base is underground on a very small island surrounded my ocean for miles. When I added the caves and cliffs it gave me a whole new island close by. It was a big island with 3 small biomes, it had a plains biome, dark oak forest, and Mesa badlands
Anyone else remember when villages got upgraded? I do. And it messed up my old world big time. I was finding villages with buildings cut in half and replaced with the new buildings. It was like a half old half new sort of style. Only a lot less attractive.

In that cave you find a starter chest
I think it's a bug
And player spawn position: 0, 64, 0
This update also bugged trident killers. The looting effect doesn't work on tridents or arrows right now. 😭
Hey there, I love the new generation but I think it's making some new problems. Let's say that upgraded chunk upgrades above current high of Minecraft. What would happen.
