There is a minecraft bug which has existed for almost 8 years. It is the strangest thing I’ve ever seen in this game, allowing you to connect to 2 servers at once, teleport and even transfer items from one server to another…
EDIT:
So after releasing the video, I got in contact with individuals in the community who know far more about the specifics of the game, its code and packets. They told me that looking into the code, the item transfer exploit seems to only work if you have creative mode on the receiving server. A bit unfortunate, but that was the point of me making the video. As I mentioned I didn’t know enough about the game to understand the mechanics behind the bug. Still a cool bug worth making a video about though

Direct connect then instant cancelling and connecting to another server works for me. Was on hypixel and my private server (where I have OP) at the same time.

Something similar happened to me – Not precisely this, but also connected to multiplayer and quite bizare – I wanted to join 2b2t, but decided I don't want to wait in the que so I switched to a private server where I played with my friends and unexpectedly, there still was the ,,Position in queue: '' text on my screen and it didn't go away, not even when I left. I had to restart the game to get rid of it.
This happened to me 6 years ago for me. It was weird, but I didn't know how to reproduce it.

So I'm guessing the reason the sky flickers between the two worlds are the unsynchronized update ticks of the servers?
This exact issue happened to me, I think I was recording at the time. I even managed to transfer items from hypixel to a much smaller server. Luckily I did not get banned, but it was very weird. I did not use any mods, but my connection was slower than usual.

Its really powerful, one czech youtuber Antys many years ago experienced this glitch on two pvp servers, and wirh this, he had unfair advantage over others.

i think why this happens is because the class that gets instantiated for the server connection is not pure (modifies the environment outside it), so even if no objects hold a reference to it (know about it in any capacity), the server controller still works (in some capacity. this is a pure sign of notch's awful coding and fixing this bug will require a small army of unpaid interns.

0:50 This happened to me once. I went into a single player creative world after going on hypixel, and I could still see the custom bossbar at the top of my screen and I couldn't break any blocks. It was quite unnerving but a quick restart fixed it.

This happened to me once I was trying to join my server and i accidentally clicked hypixel and i was in game mode creative on hypixel i panicked and shutdown my computer cuz i didn't wanted to get banned…
I've actually found a way to replicate this without a laggy internet connection and have known about this for ages
you can do it in vanilla 1.19 on realms easy

This happened to me too, atleast twice from what i rememeber. Once i was in two servers at the same time.
EDIT: I'm pretty sure it was the labymod thing, since i still have cosmetics from a few years ago on it.
So this also happened to me, but when I joined Minecraft 1.8 singleplayer quickly after exiting the game called The Joy of Creation so my computer was still thinking that I'm in The Joy of Creation, but I was in my Minecraft 1.8 singleplayer world. No cap.

This is just a visual bug (:, but hacked clients could absolutely do the same without joining two servers at the same time but the server won't allow any of that.
What if you use this exploit to give yourself a book on a creative multiplayer server that runs /op @p once you click a link inside it?
