I got some inside information from a certain person and all I can say is "meerkat".
There is a barrier block, it's possible to get up on the edge, there is one single block that enables you to get up on the edge in the very back. But again, the barrier block stops you. Which I totally understand.

To everyone who’s computer/iPad/phone/ whatever you use to play Minecraft, if your device crashed when you tried to join the mob vote server, that doesn’t mean it’s Mojang’s fault and it also doesn’t mean your device is bad. If you get kicked from the game or your device restarts or anything like that, that means there was too many people on the server, or the ping was super high. It’s a server public to everyone. EVERYONE. What did you expect.
