Will it happen again this year? The mob vote is a really important part of minecraft live and it’s something that will forever be apart of minecraft. Should mojang do something, is it even right for them to do something? I just hope that dream is joking. This event is for the community and the vote should personify what the majority of the community wants. Not the stans/ subs of one creator.

What if the Dream stans vote for what he wants the stans creates more sccounts to vote over and over again
I personally think that Dream and the other big Minecraft creators with fan bases as big as his and bigger should stay silent with the mob or biome vote in terms of who they want to win until after minecon and let the community decide for themselves who they want to vote for and not let their votes be decided on who their favorite creator wants you to vote for. Hopefully someone who works for Mojang becomes aware of this situation and bring it to their attention and try to see if there’s anything they can do to keep the votes fair

I'm disapointed that one of the biggest modern mc youtubers is this childish and irresponsible with his influence, and that people have to even deal with this instead of enjoying and looking forward to the ONE time a YEAR where people get to directly influence the game's future in a way, but I hope that THIS time around Dream learns his lesson and grows, and that we get a great year for our favorite game.

From all of the videos I’ve seen about dream and from watching him myself I can say that I don’t like him. Sure he makes good content but as a person he is immature and arrogant, I wouldn’t be surprised if he tried to rig the vote again this year

I was thinking that maybe Mojang shouldn't do a poll system on Minecon. All the votes on 1 day on twitter doesn't seem to work since it's not the entire community and they can be cheesed. Not everybody has a twitter account, which is weird because it's free to make. I was thinking maybe likes on mob vote videos or comments. If they are gonna do a poll then do it over a span of a few days. It could involve the entire community on other types of media and this gives people more time to choose what they want rather then to hope for the best. Idk I'm gonna keep my hopes to a minimum because we never know what might happen during Minecon.
I don't like what Dream did last year. Not beacuse he made the glow squid win but beacause now everyone thinks the glow squid couldn't have won without Dream.

I feel like everybody’s pointing the finger at dream to have someone to blame for them not getting the mob they wanted, and tbh the mobs weren’t all that great anyway. Everybody has a vote and can choose as they please. Yes influencers do affect your choice some but overall it’s your choice. Everybody I followed in the community wanted the cow or glow squid, while I wanted the iceologer and thats okay. As someone who’s a neutral party when it comes to dream, cause I don’t really dislike or like him, I think you use the “dream drama” for click bait and views and tbh it’s annoying hearing you complain every other video about dream, but that’s just my opinion
They should have a voting menu in game so people who actually own the game can vote and it'll not be on twitter
They should just have 10 mobs in the mob vote and 5 get in now and 5 in the next video

Yes, I also chose the Glowsquid last year. Not because I was pushed by people like Dream. I thought very carefully for myself and came to the conclusion that the glowsquid was the most fun for me. The Iceoleger I also liked very much, but in my opinion at the time I thought we already had a lot of illagers. I was very hesitant though. But the most important thing about this story is that you have to make your own choice and not listen to others. When that happens, everyone is happy 🙂

I feel like the only people who would vote just for dream would be only their stans (which are not the majority of his fanbase). Secondly, most younger viewers don’t only watch dream but other content creators as well and will most likely have their votes affected by other large people or just not even be affected at all.
Solution: Vote in facebook 😂 or other platforms that are unknown to dream

I know this sounds weird but I kinda want dream to rig the vote, purely so that there will lots of drama surrounding him and he will have to make a cringe apology video because everyone in the minecraft community hates him. The worse possible case scenario I can imagine would having the warden as 1 of the mobs in the vote along with a brown big and a green spider and dream votes for the pig so we don't get the warden we were waiting for more than 1 year now…
(read the whole thing) Dream has actually made a mistake by saying that there's nothing you can do to stop me because if he rigs it he would be getting the amount of backlash, anger, frustration and hatred as last year if not more however if he fails to rig the vote he will most likely be laughed at by the Minecraft community so dream has got himself in a lose-lose situation just by say he is going to rig the vote
I don't really think he rigged the vote and that his most recent tweet about the event was also just a joke as alot of people are just getting mad at him and where sore losers.
Most big YouTubers also said what there favourite mob during the event so putting all the blame on dream as a scapegoat is just unfair.
The reason why I don't think it was rigged is that there is a huge player base who just played on peaceful player and why would they vote for the iceolger and I think many people in the community forget that there isn't one way to play minecraft, there many ways to play it and those people will want different mobs depending on how they play the game.
