Minecraft Viki (video wiki) ➜ https://minecraft.viki.gg

Agnes and Henrik drop by Minecraft Live to talk about The Caves & Cliffs Update. They take a look back at Part I and reflect on how valuable the community’s feedback has been. We also get an inside look from some of the developers working on Part II. Alexander, Nhi, and Timur walk us through the work that goes into building a new mountain, creating a new cave, and what real world inspiration made it into the game.

  1. Minecraft is THE game. I always have urges to play it so I’ll start a new world or load an old one. I love how unique mc is. What other games have released 10 years ago and still do massive updates? The fact that u can experience all upcoming updates on any old world is amazing. The devs are really transparent and love the community + feedback. This game will never die. Just imagine they did things like this on games like black ops 2 instead of making a cod every year

  2. This right here is a shining example about what to do as a developer or a team of developers.
Transparency, and communication with the community. Both lead into an amazing community, and a lasting game. (And really high profits, provided the game is well made. Win-win situation for everyone!)

  3. I feel like a cool Minecraft idea update would be making shy islands it seems very fantasy just like Minecraft and idk just think it would very cool and would fit original Minecraft

  4. So, are random floating trees and water sources spawning in the middle of nowhere near the old height limit gonna be a permanent feature or is that gonna be fixed before the end of the month when it's time to renew my realm? Jw if I'm gonna keep my realm going or go start an ark server again.

That said, much love and respect to you guys. Just really heartbroken seeing my world(which I've put years of work into) slowly be corrupted. I'm not starting over again… I'm talking nations of villagers, geopolitical conflicts… don't make me start over again, please.

  5. Being proud of a geological feature that happens to exist in the imaginary political boundaries you were accidentally born in seems like a mental illness to me. And don't even get me started on "very proud".
