  1. Literally think this was done because of me. I was so close to buying minecraft for my computer the other day and then I realized I have no idea which version to get. So I just held off. Now this news is out, and I think it was Mojang saying "We gotchu."

  3. So does this mean raytracing will be accessible on console?? Minecraft released the option to have Raytracing as a built in option for Java, if you play the Java version on console, that could mean console raytracing… right?

  4. I've got both Java and Bedrock, but I can only use my xbox controller on Bedrock without third party mods. I only need Java for when I finally decide to go on a pvp server to show off how bad I am at pvp.

  5. When people talk about them actually making them one game (not just being bought together) I always see them complain like "But that means one will be gone and now we don't get the features" but like if they were gonna make it one game they would add everything from the other not just remove al the features lol

  6. I bought Java at the beginning of this year because I prefer playing with a keyboard and mouse and finally decided to get it. I might have considered Bedrock but I didn't know if my laptop would run it, I kind of regrated it when I found out it could run because I wouldn't get to play with family since they play bedrock. I saw in the launcher one day about this though and now knowing to expect it soon makes me happy since I'll finally get to play with family using controls I used for years instead of a controller.
My grandfather got Windows on his computer in like 2016/2015 and that's how I played until 2020, I still mess up the controls to this day even though I played everyday for around 8 hours because I had nothing to do. I also think the fact I've played on his laptop then computer as much as I could just got me very used to the controls for games.

  7. I had bedrock and saw some superflat worlds and was like oooo I wanna try that before finding ur video and finding out that on bedrock structures don't generate and didn't want to waste money for 1 thing. Now I can do that so that's cool. Also I can get my ip stolen on 2b2t for free

  8. This was already announced earlier this year, when Microsoft offered Minecraft Java Edition on Xbox Game Pass for PC all the way back in March 2022. It was later merged with Microsoft for Windows (Bedrock) during the announcement. But this time, they're ensuring that both Minecraft versions will be merged in one package for one price outside of Game Pass.
