Minecraft 1.20 looks like it’s a quality of life update, the fletching table doesn’t have a use in the game. Minecraft made it block of the month so let’s talk about it in more detail.

  1. I think the best idea would be to add this option plus another one.

The other would be the option to fortify your bow/crossbow.
For example, you could fortify them with iron, diamonds, netherite, etc.
And so, you would get a better range, damage, speed, charging…

It would be soo cool for me tbh

  2. Hi Ecko, I think it is time for a wood saw, with a lumberjack villager. This saw could make wooden stairs, turn the planks 90 degrees, and make chiseled wooded blocks. The chiseled wooden blocks could look like a wood burner was used. (Chiseled sandstone), Terry

  3. The fletching table should be able to upgrade a wooden bow to a stone bow to a copper bow to a sapphire bow to an emerald bow to an iron bow to a gold bow to a diamond bow and finally to a netherite bow

  4. I would prefer the java method becs of how OP the tipped arrows are and it will give another incentive to kill the dragon over and over again it's like high risk-high reward thing and the reason why the tipped arrows are OP is becs you get a STACK of arrows from ONE lingering potion. Also I would like it to be crafted in the fletching table becs it just makes sense

  5. I think it would be interesting to see how bows could be updated other than just changing the arrow. For example overlaying a bow with copper, iron, gold, or netherite to extend the longevity of the bow and giving a buff such as the gilded bow allowing the player to hunt around piglin bastions without being attacked or the armored bow having a greater knockback and damage.

  6. I think it should be like special arrows are made in fletching tables instead of lingering arrows as there's gonna be parity between bedrock and java so that most likely we can use cauldrons like in bedrock and the fletching tables could make like spectral arrows, exploding arrows, redstone arrows and more!

  7. I think the use should be making arrows full customizable like putting glow stone dust for the spectral effect
Diamond, iron, flint or gold for damage
    Netherite and copper for Peircing
    Gun powder for explosion
    Dragon breath for lingering damage
And you can combine all of these each other like glow stone dust and gunpowder for the arrow to explode making mobs in a 6×6 radius to glow and get damaged.
