so why is stained clay now called terracotta when you bake clay to make terracotta?
"Terracotta, also known as terra cotta or terra-cotta (Italian: 'baked earth'; from Latin terra cocta 'cooked earth'" if they are getting all "correct" then this needs to be reverted.
and deepslate needs to be crafted from deepslate and not cobbled_deepslate and cobbeled_deepslate stairs and slabs need to be added Its an afternoons work that requires 0 bug fixing.
does that mean we finally get rid of those weird buggy shadows at chunk borders? (it was fixed before, I feel, but then it came back)
Calibrated skulk should be with an echo shard rathet than normal amethyst, would look cooler and the name makes sense
I’m on vacation so it’s nice to know some stuff
is that update coming
How do you open the data files of Minecraft… please tell
when are they gonna fix that glitch where blocks in certain chunks go invisible unless you cross specific chunk boundaries. i play with optifine but i think i recall seeing it happen on vanilla worlds as well
fun video
Watching time team they used the term sherds and I thought it was just his accent.
From what I can tell, “shard” and “sherd” have the exact same pronunciation.
Huh. I always thought when the archeologists on Time Team said "sherd" it was just Phil Hardiing's accent
English trying so hard making past tense of pots cause they broke so many.
"Hey man you just broke that ancient pot, look at the mess of shards"
"Uhhh, they're sherd now"
I dont know what to think about minecraft archeology tbh. You get the loot for pots and for armor and all that. But since all the structures are the same with different positions, idk it feels like once you get one all will feel the same. And since you cannot speed up the "mining" for the suspicious sand, the repetitive structures, and the fact that you have to dig your way to the ruins, i think if it is added as it is it will be obsolete in no time :/
And I mean, I would love to decorate an archeology site with some chests with archeology items and a perimeter with stairs and all that and i think it can be really really cool and I love to do small structures like that in my worlds. But I think once I do once of those I will be tired and never do that again xD
Майнкрафт это моя жизнь
Yeah but when's the adventure update coming

Erm e gerd its a sherd!
4:07 HAPPY MUMBO NOISES!
This is the first non-edible crop villagers can plant.
Can they add the flowers to inventory or do they just drop them on the ground?
Who else is gonna play, or is playing legends
Minecraft made the shard name accurate but they still have wob not bow.
I'm kinda disappointed that we still haven't seen a 3rd type of ancient plant.
time to open a bug report about "shard" being spelt wrong
Basically: a return statement is how functions are ended. If a function outputs data, then you include what to output in the return statement.
So, for the Skulk sensors, does that mean the vibrations don't despawn when you unload the chunk? That's one of the biggest problems with the Skulk sensors being practical to use in survival.
Im sure the largely young teen to child demographic will love the archeological accuracy of the pottery sherds lmao
the torch flower can catch fire? that unfortunate
LIT
Noooo why??????? Why did they remove the sand??? The sand was the best thing about it…
Just me that doesn't care about the sculk sensor nor the archaeology type stuff?.. infact there's not much that excites me in this update
Another lacklustre(i had no clue it was spelled that way) update, and with name changes that confuse people, great!
I want (need) minecraft to add ice slabs so that ice boat highways can truly become real. I have highways and roads in my minecraft world and I want to repave them with ice but that would only work if boats can travel up ice blocks.
Wait so how do you get a sniffer out of a mine cart then
ForgetMeChunk is known to introduce a memory leak. You have to switch dimensions or restart your client periodically to unload.
do you guys think theres going to be a way of distinguishing the rare and common suspicious blocks?
"Sherd" is officially the third real world thing I've learned from Minecraft first. Fascinating!
It's all pretty cool, but I'd prefer some gameplay impact instead of just aesthetics :/
