The Minecraft 1.20 snapshot 22w45a for Minecraft Java edition released today. I will show you all the additions, changes and fixes added to this snapshot! Apparently, this snapshot will actually be for minecraft 1.19.3, since Mojang have decided on more frequent minor updates! If you want to get access to the experimental features, you have to enable the minecraft 1.20 datapack. This datapack adds many new features into your game! This snapshot adds two new bamboo blocks, the block of bamboo and the block of stripped bamboo. Furthermore, both the vex model and vex textures have been updated to make the vex look similar to the allay. You can now find all the operator items such as command blocks in a seperate creative inventory tab that you can enable in the controls screen, the minecraft creative inventory operator items tab. Furthermore, a new colored blocks section has been added to the creative inventory!

– When killing an Evoker, the Vexes that It summonled die too.
The inside of the bamboo block looks so good
There is a change that the changelog didn't say, and it's the new scaffolding texture. It now slightly looks like bamboo planks. You can check it out for yourself if you want.
Not gonna lie the new vex texter is weird
It shows 16 gaps of bamboo on the bamboo blocks but you use 9 to craft them?
New vex model looks similar to allay
Are the allays in the illiger outpost being experimented and being transformed to vexes?

Bro i like the old vex better, they should change it back for feedback. One thing I'd like in the quality of life update is for them to fix programmer arts issues and bring back the old pigman in it
I preferred the 4 bamboo to a plank, and 9 to a block of bamboo
You need to have tooltips on to see the categories on items.

I love the new vex model. I love minecraft lore and I hope they keep doing what they’re doing. It makes minecraft survival more like your story in a story if that makes sense
