After updating all the caves and cliffs, it was clear that we weren’t ready to go back inside just yet. The great outdoors still called to us, which is why 2022 will bring you The Wild Update!
Cory Scheviak, Agnes Larsson and Brandon Pearce from the Vanilla team showed us some of the beautiful concept art, and as you can see the The Wild Update will bring new gameplay, more depth, and lots of fun stuff to the game. Like mud and mangrove swamps. MORE SWAMPS! My natural habitat is slowly taking over the Overworld. Along with different types of frogs and tadpoles, we’re also getting boats with chests! This is something that a lot of people have been requesting for a long time, and we understand why. Is there anything better than an aquatic picnic? Or maybe you just want to bring your dirt blocks with you when you take to the lake. I know I do.
We also learned that the Deep Dark and warden will be included in The Wild Update, which means we need to wait until 2022 to jump out of our real and player skins in fear. On one hand, yes. Waiting is boring and delays are never fun. Trust me, if my cat’s food bowl is empty for one second too long, I can kiss all my leggings goodbye. But on the other hand, this delay happened because the Deep Dark is not only very deep and very, very dark – but it is also really big. And we want to make it as big, dark, deep, and absolutely terrifying as possible.

Deep Dark City theory
The ancient builders went underground to look for the stronghold or maybe for some other reason but overtime it got abandoned. my theory the skulk catalyst spreads more skulk growth when a mob dies around it maybe the patches of skulk are because the people that lived there got killed by the warden.
Even if the Allay won doesn’t mean that the Copper Golem has to be forgotten like the Moobloom. Add Copper Golem videos to this hashtag to let his legacy live on.

am SO SURE when thewy presented the wild update they didn't want to show A THING, they were holding back so much and i understand, last time they overhyped and underdelivered (underdelivered as in didn't put everything they said they would, i understand why they needed to split it in 2, 3 or 4 even but lets not count archeaology and deep dark biome)
but i think they are underhyping and over delivering, not promesing much but delivering a lot

This has been my complaint with Minecon every year and has really hasn't changed this year I wish they would cut out the filler like it's great that they love to highlight the community but when it comes to me taking time out of the day to watch this I'd rather we just skip to the good stuff Minecon should really just be up 45 minutes to an hour show not a two-hour-long stream

I must've been lucky to have The Caves and Cliffs as my first ever Minecraft Live and The Wilds Update as my second ever Minecraft Live watched.
Three things:
1. So excited for this update! The cities and the frogs are easily my favorite upcoming features.
2. I think it's possible we might see the other losing mobs, like Ostriches and Vultures, added into the game in this update, alongside the features they come with.
3. Is it possible that the bee armor from the trailer might be connected to this update in some way? Just speculation.

Finally i can put a freaking chest in my boat!! I also hope the Nature update gives more usefulness to copper and amethyst. Yeah they're pretty, but even though im a builder, i just cant find much to use them for.

I think there's more to the update but they choose not to say too much cuz of how caves and cliff endup having to delay ,split update and remove a feature for next update
#stealtharmy I loved minecraft live and really do think this update is needed. How ever since they are updating the swamp from to old bio vote will the others be added. Will other bios be updated cause all we know is 3 things birch forests getting change so are swamps plus adding the deep dark.

Honestly, what they showed of 1.19 leaves me with more questions than answers. Other than the deep dark, are we only getting the birch forests and swamps updated? If so, that seems really random, especially the birch forest. It almost seemed like they didn’t even know what they were doing for 1.19. I get the warden and the swamp but the birch forest really throws me off. They never said “we’re updating many biomes.” And they only said that they want the game to be more immersive. How are you doing that if you only update two surface biomes? Am I missing something? Also, what I’m looking forward to most from 1.19 is the warden. I understand the delay but it hurt my soul when they said they were holding it back again. 😔

End Update 2023, I'm calling it now
I was doing a tunnel in the nether to Z=4375 and X=75 to prepare for the 1.18 update but I will still put the portal there in the nether as well as Z=4188 and X=150 in the nether as well as put nether speed highways but anything past around Z=2000 in the nether when I am done I will say no access to the far portals to the overworld until the 1.19 update drops due to the warden being delayed to the 1.19 update. Is that a good plan?
I was expecting they will also add the desert update and savanna update because they added the swamp but kinda sad they didnt add it and I seriously want termites
