The feature I was most excited for was obviously the warden. But I’m mostly excited about cave generation, specifically lush caves.
Small dripleafs still don’t generate in lush caves on bedrock. They need to fix this before full release!

i'm totally starting fresh in 1.18, i can't NOT restart when the world is about to get even more Epic, i think everyone can keep their 1.17 worlds and they can make a new 1.18 world to enjoy the future with, to not do it sounds like somebody not wanting to update the game beyond 1.0.0 which i think would be insane.
Is no one else worried that this update is all about exploring existing and new chunks but the warden and the deep dark won't be here yet so by the time we get it people will have to go miles away to find a warden
This is a great update unless you only play on flat worlds

I’m kinda disappointed that this update didn’t add a new hostile enemy to the caves or mountains because they feel not that dangerous to traverse most of the time, even a variant of the zombie for the mountains and variant of spider for the caves would do
My plan for 1.18 is, to delete the old generated chunks I've just flown through or went mining in with a world editor, so there will be brand new chunks not far away from my base.

I kinda hate the new world generation, and with that i mean how absolutely fucked up the surface is. Idk how but caves seem to be generated even at the surface creating big holes everywhere

I wish Minecraft had an equivalent of the stone cutter for wood. It would make making wood building items much cheaper.
in my first world i have a bridge/railway from my house to an ocean monument that has been in the works for 3 years now. why have i not completed it? because i thought it would be a great idea to make the walls surrounding it out of brick. after 3 years clay is non existent in my world. God bless lush caves

I've honestly destroyed my iron farm, one reason is because it doesn't work but the other is I want to take full advantage of the mining aspect in MINEcraft
I feel like 1.18 is gonna be the beginning of the new age of Minecraft, as this is probably the biggest update ever in Minecraft
