  1. I like the new biome system and the light change sounds nice as it will be easyer too prevent mob spawning on larger builds without edditing said build as much.

  2. Two things I noticed even just from a quick playthrough myself…mesa/badlands and jungles seem to be a lot more common than they were before, and creepers are a lot more dangerous than before, since they don't burn up in sunlight or go passive like the other hostile overworld mobs. It's easy to get lulled into a false sense of security wandering around in broad daylight, and then 'ssss-boom'. Also, I noticed a lot of 'floating islands' hanging around..not saying they're a bad thing (I'd be interested in making a base on one sometime), just more common.

  3. I think that the biome generation is what we need, the ore distribution changes (while annoying) are needed, and changing the hostile spawns is good. I want to be able to build with mood lighting and play around with dimly light rooms in my builds but it's difficult without using slabs as a floor. Soul lanterns are one of my favorite lighting options but they are too dim to be safe with the current spawns. Increasing the area that spawners can spawn mobs would possibly make farms need more caution in filling in holes outside the desired spawn area, and would just need a bit more work which isn't an issue. I think that it's a step in the right direction.
