This is the most boring update that i can remember..
Little life hack for y'all, if you have a survival world that you made in 1.16 (like I did)
and you don't have the naturally generated things like amythest geodes and copper 'n all that
just copy the world! and BAM you got all the new naturally generated things
It worked for me, after I copied the world I found copper, amythest, dripstone caves and all the snazzy stuff!

When I played 1.17 the first time, I had a difficulty finding stone because there's so much andesite. Can't upgrade my wooden tools after a few Minecraft days.

The little tunnels that usually lead to dead ends seem to lead to big open rooms alot more

I think the glowsquid and axolotl made it so the flooded caves and flooded ravines were kind of added? Thats my guess why there was so much water in the last comparison

Unfortunately they took a year with this and still had to split it into 2 parts…cmon Minecraft ! There’s mods that add more content and are made faster without having billions of dollars.

10:45 Not to crap on the new cave generation, but I'm going to miss caves like that in 1.18. 1.18 is going to feel more "realistic". But that cave right there feels way more MineCraft-y. :shrug:
