  1. I don't know if it would work on java edition. But yesterday i was playing survival flat world on MCPE, with one ice and lava bucket along with starting chest as starting resources.
After 4 days game time, i thought it was time to get myself mob farm. So i can get my hands on either gold nugget from mob armour drop, for (golden Apple) and the like. The lack of water get me brainstorm for potential farm design, so one water source can power my, mob farm, veggies farm, and cobblestone generator. After i got a simple design that follow water flow i choose to do it. After mind numbing mining and block placing, i rest for a bit while watching my wheat to grow with water flowing from unfinished mob farm. AND!! A Bolt strike me out of nowhere.
What if i bonemeal the waterflow…?
If you bonemeal grass patch, you get grass for seed and flower for dye. And if you bonemeal the seaweed under waterflow you get Water source.(trick used for bubblevator).
What if i bonemeal the waterflow with nothing on it…? Will i get seaweed, or seagrass…?
I choose to do it right then and there. I get my limited bonemeal (4) and just click on the DIRT beneath the water flow….
Do you know what i got? A coral, a fire coral and EXTRA water source.
Now i got my self a chunk (16x2x16) full of water with seagrass, corals, and sometime, glow squid. Without cheating, or cauldron, or trade with wandering trader for ice. Only with 1 water source, minimum 2 bonemeal, and 2 by 2 with depth of 2 block. I get myself an ocean.
    .
I'm sure there was people who have done it before, but from watching so many Minecraft youtuber doing challenge with limited resources. They either use cauldron, cauldron and bottle combo, or other trick that generally to tricky or expensive for limited resources challenges..
    .
Or perhaps bonemeal-ing the flowing water is only working for MCPE, either way, miss Gem. You can try it to get yourself extra water source for your mob farm in the next episode….
    .
Looking forward to your new future upload.

  2. Actually there is already a way for us bedrock players to enjoy the same map. With the help of minecrafts chunker stuff which can convert Java worlds to bedrock words and vise versa. I'm actually gonna try that real quick.

  3. Even though gem is from Canada, she would defiantly suit British life, I can just imagine her having her cosy time with a cuppa tea sitting by a fire. I don't know if that happens in Canada but it defiantly happens here. Also, love that skyblock is back, one of my favourite sersious

  4. if you ever wanted to hop back into modded Minecraft again, I would suggest Minecolonies. Minecolonies is where you build a colony from the ground up and you get the colonists to do things for you. But there's not a lot of building involved, so maybe not your cup of tea, but you should definitly check it out! 😀
