About this video: Lag in Minecraft 1.18.2 can be one of the most annoying things that can happen in Minecraft. It can truly stop you from playing Minecraft all together. Luckily though, this tutorial is here to help. We go over some Minecraft 1.18.2 FPS boosts that will help you stop lag and make Minecraft run smoother even on laptops. So, without anymore delay, here is how to get more FPS in Minecraft 1.18.2!
First things first, I do want to mention that we are using Optifine in order to fix lag in Minecraft 1.18.2. The good news is that we have helped millions of people download and install Optifine in the past, and you can find our complete guide for Optifine 1.18.2 in the description above.
After you have Optifine downloaded, the first lag fix is in the Minecraft launcher. It could be wroth it to add more RAM to Minecraft if your computer has more RAM to add. This could help reduce lag in Minecraft without even changing an other settings. Just make sure you are doing this on your Optifine installation. Speaking of, go ahead and open up Minecraft with Optifine.
Once Minecraft is open, click on Options, Video settings. Here is where you can really give Minecraft 1.18.2 an FPS boost. You will see all of the different settings that Optifine adds to Minecraft 1.18.2. For all of the main settings, they are either going to be set to Fast, off, or turned all the way down to the right. From there, make sure Shaders are turned off, and go into Quality.
In the Quality menu, the same rule applies. Everything here either needs to be turned off completely or turned to the fast setting. The same is turn for the Details and Animations menus. However, Performance is a bit different. In the Performance menu, You actually want to turn everything on, chunk updates to 1 and Chunk Builder to semi blocking.
We also recommend disabling all Minecraft texture packs as Minecraft texture packs do add lag to the game. With this, Minecraft 1.18.2 will stop lagging.
When you go in-game, you will notice that Minecraft doesn’t look good. You can now increase and change settings until you find the perfect balance between graphics setting and making Minecraft 1.18.2 run smooth.
Nevertheless, you now know how to get more FPS in Minecraft 1.18.2. If you have any issues learning how to make Minecraft run smoother in 1.18.2, let us know in the comments. We will try to help. However, if we did help you boost FPS in Minecraft 1.18.2, please give this video a thumbs up and subscribe if you haven’t already. It really helps us out, and it means a ton to me. Thanks in advance!

Holy hell, thank you so much! I just tried this and with no shaders, I got 30 to 60 FPS, which is excellent. However, I don't play without shaders, so I enabled my fastest one, and I got 20 to 38 FPS. Then I turned on my usual shader and it capped at 28 FPS, which is much better than before.
Thx a lot love your vids thx so muchhhhhhhh
