I don't build with my own idea because I don't know redstone or how to use redstone tutorials into a build and I am very bad at building, I'm more of a creative type to cause chaos rather than fight or build

also i’ve found keeping the build fun and fresh helps me get it done faster. and also for more monotonous builds, listening to music or watching something in the bg helps with the boredom
in one of my worlds i decided to make a railway track going to not so nearby villages and digging a 3×3 tunnel for a thousand blocks isn’t really fun so i would spend around 30 mins digging to some music and then build something small (like a bakery) and go back to the rails after. around 7 of these cycles later and i had a working railway and several buildings done and still had motivation to expand and build a whole village.
Me who builds all sorts of stuff and always make a hidden room or compartment into it then launch and event in the server to whomever find the secret room or compartment first would win a secret price and yes i always build decoys too
