In this episode I will show you a tutorial on how to build an easy villager breeder for minecraft 1.16.4+. It also works in Bedrock edition.
Since Minecraft 1.16.2 villager sleeping mechanics have chainged, breaking old villager breeders. There are fixes if somewhat fiddly.
My Auto Villager Breeder uses the villager baby mechanic where baby villagers want to jump on the beds. Which I have not seen done before. I came up with the concept back in Minecraft 1.15.
Because it uses this different mechanic it doesn’t have the issue of the villagers esscaping their holding cells. The babys simply want to jump up and down on the beds, so will path find to them and therefore end up falling into the stream to be taken out of the farm, allowing the adults to be ready to breed again.

i did this exact build and they start having hearts and then clouds (like the icons they get when you hit them) i rewatched your tutorial to make sure i didnt miss anything! im not sure what im doing wrong…

Hey, i was going to make a roof but im scared ill make it too low and mess with the farm, what height should the roof be?
my villagers arent breeding and when they get close and make hearts storm clouds appear and they stop breeding does anyone know a fix?

How do you make thd collection above the ground?
This was made in 1.16 but will still work in 1.17. Mobgriefing needs to be set to true and if placing a roof you need three blocks of space underneath for the breeder.
