Sagi’s 8:36 speedrun world record in Minecraft 1.16 RSG kind of came out of nowhere – but this is the story of how it happened. Yes, this video is very late, but hopefully it’s still a story you enjoy hearing. Please go support Sagi on his channel:

This is not the story of a Minecraft player who possibly cheated to get a faked Minecraft speedrun world record, and not the story of their friend who also did not cheat to get a faked Minecraft speedrun world record. Fake Minecraft speedruns are insane, almost as insane as this description! If you want to see a fake cheated Minecraft 1.16 world record speedrun, this is not the video for you!

  1. I think the mods were right to verify the run, but I think the rules should also be updated and clarified for situations like this. Assuming innocence can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt and its clear there was no ill intent, it should be verified.

  2. I mean you can see all the things he did in between accidentally quitting out and going back and it wasn't deliberate so i feel like verifying is the right move. If there was any ambiguity in what happened while the games was closed i would say no tho.

  3. Probably your guy's best made video to be honest. An amazing vid on an amazing run. Sagi really deserves this run and it's just inspiring watching history play out like this. As for a next video, Crooksts 5:27 SH enter run would be interesting.
