What version/mods do you have? what mod is doing that to the water in 1.21?
Based on your speed, that hypertube could technically send you 4-5000 blocks before you need to land.
Maybe add a destination button so you could have a brakepad/waterfall that pops in and out and get out at the right stop?

The thumbnail kinda misled me into thinking it would utilize the boat/minecart instant portal travel that was recently changed and I only really clicked because I was curious to see how fast people have gotten travel with that mechanic to go while still looking good… instead it was an elytra launcher with no directional freedom that took more time and blocks to make, simply for the sake of looking kinda cool… okay then.
